As part of the exhibition "Time Preserved in Artifacts," the "Tura-Khan" visitor center of the Eurasian Museum of Nomadic Civilizations is showcasing replicas of archaeological vessels. These reconstructions, created using authentic technologies of ancient masters from the Southern Urals, allow visitors to better understand the evolution of ceramic production from the Bronze Age to the Golden Horde era.

The replicas were made by Vadim Mukhametdinov, a specialist in ancient ceramics and head of the archaeological laboratory at Ufa State University of Science and Technology. The firing of the vessels took place during a pottery masterclass on October 12th at the visitor center's venue. Participants observed hearth firing – a traditional technique that gives the vessels a mottled coloration and reflects methods used up to the High Middle Ages.

Despite the unpredictability of this technology, the firing was successful, and the replicas have taken their places in the exhibition. According to museum staff, some visitors with experience in archaeological collections noted that they would not have been able to distinguish these reconstructions from genuine artifacts. Such a result is directly linked to the authenticity of the technologies used in the work.
