On January 29-30, Ufa is hosting the III All-Russian Municipal Forum "Small Homeland – Strength of Russia," organized by the All-Russian Association for the Development of Local Self-Government (VARMSU). The event has brought together heads of municipalities, experts, and public representatives to share experiences in local self-government. The key theme is the economic development of territories.
As part of the forum, an investment session was held on January 28 at the "Tura-Khan" visitor center, where participants discussed strategies for attracting investors and supporting businesses. The Head of Chishminsky District, Rishat Mansurov, presented the territory's investment policy, emphasizing the focus on creating conditions for economic growth. "We strive to create favorable conditions for investment and the development of entrepreneurship. This not only contributes to economic growth but also improves the quality of life for our residents," noted Rishat Mansurov. The discussions touched upon finding new solutions for small towns and villages, as well as current issues of municipal governance.
On January 29, the program continued with presentations of district projects. Guests were shown what is already being implemented and what is planned, from the Eurasian Museum of Nomadic Civilizations project to the construction of the "Kochevnik" spa sanatorium. Irina Alekseevna Khomutova, Managing Partner of the strategic consulting company Khomutova & Partners, specializing in tourism, provided commentary on the project presentations, emphasizing the integration of historical heritage with modern investments to strengthen local communities.
Following the forum, experts noted that such combined events facilitate the exchange of practices between municipalities. Bashkortostan once again confirms its role as a center for innovation and development at the municipal level, providing a platform for dialogue and cooperation.
