Photographs of Sergei Mikhailovich Prokudin-Gorsky, a pioneer of color photography in Russia. At the beginning of the 20th century, Prokudin-Gorsky traveled to many provinces of the Russian Empire and created hundreds of unique color photographs both in central Russia, the Caucasus, the Urals, and Central Asia.
A year after the creation of the photographs, at the initiative of Mufti Mukhamedyar Mukhametsharipovich Sultanov, at the expense of the religious community, the mausoleum of Hussein bey was reconstructed on the model of the Khan's tomb in Bulgar (Tatarstan). It is believed that the architecture of the mausoleum was originally identical to that of Tura Khan.
